The recent Rejig sewing sessions held on Tuesday mornings at Greenfield Community Arts have now come to an end, but it has been a great experience getting to know lots of different stitchers in the Newton Aycliffe area over the last 2 years. As with all the weekly Rejig groups, this one has had lots of interesting people come to join in the sewing workshops and we have enjoyed doing a number of embroidery, dressmaking, hat creation, recycling and quilting projects together. Many thanks are due to Sophie at Greenfield Arts who encouraged and advertised the sessions on our behalf, as well as the dedicated Arts Centre reception staff who helped me with my textile exhibition during 2016. I hope to see many of the Greenfield stitchers at our other sessions in the future!
