Exhibition Sketchbooks

Colour, Dyes, Embroidery, Kantha, Learning, Natural dyeing, pattern, Sewing, Sewing machines, Stitches

My recent textile exhibition came down at the end of June but I’ve still been working on my collection of printing and dyeing samples in my sketchbooks. The process of preparing for an exhibition is hard work and now it’s completed, I’m enjoying the chance to review my own progress and have time to do some sorting and further experimenting before teaching another Textile Skills course at The Bridge, Darlington in September.

I’m also going to be running some further Rejig sessions on different days and in some new locations from September, so look out for taster sessions in Middleton St George, Barnard Castle and Newton Aycliffe along with full and half day weekend workshops on fabric dyeing, wax batik, fabric printing and embellishment skills in the South Park, programme dates coming soon.
