New Tutorial!

Posts, Promotion, Quilts, Recycling, Sewing, Short, Tutorials

As it’s the last day of the month, we’ve just posted a new guide to a fun patchwork block over on our Tutorials page!

This month we’re covering the Dutch Puzzle block, also known as “Dutchman’s Puzzle”. Apparently this is because the middle blocks form a pinwheel shape, bearing some resemblance to the blades of a Dutch windmill.

This is a quick and easy block, but can look really striking and modern when bold contrasting fabric are used. It combines a plainer background colour with two brighter fabrics which can be plain, patterned, floral, textured… it’s up to you!

Click on through to see the pattern, or visit the main Tutorials page and take a look at some of our other blocks from this year.
