Embroidery experiments

Colour, Embroidery, Learning, Recycling, Sessions, Sewing, Sewing machines, South Park, Stitches

This month in the Rejig sessions we have been doing lots of experiments with free motion machine embroidery – it’s a lot of fun and very addictive! All that’s needed is a machine embroidery or darning foot, a wooden or plastic embroidery hoop, lots of coloured thread, some recycled fabrics and lots of ideas. We’ve been using lovely linen from discarded summer trousers and trying out some applique techniques too …….
