Rejig at The Festival of Thrift 2015

Festival of Thrift, Learning, Oxfam, pattern, Regalia, Rejiggers, Sewing machines

Well what can we say about this year’s Festival of Thrift that hasn’t already been said?

It was just FABULOUS – stuffed full of things of beauty, ingenuity, humour, thriftiness, arty rejigging, crafty wonderment and more!!!

Here at Rejig we ran our drop-in sewing workshops in YARN at Lingfield House, right at the heart of the Festival over the whole weekend and had hundreds of visitors who got stuck in and sewed all kinds of things with treasure from our tubs of lovely, colourful recycled fabrics.

The most popular activity by far was the chance to try out our fine collection of hand sewing machines – great for sewing at any age and passing on skills between generations too

Take a look at our Festival photos for some of the many things everyone got up to …….
